Hand made here in New Zealand, this taiaha makes a unique birthday or that special occassion gift. The taiaha is made from timber with hand carved details, real feather trim. The wooden base is made to perfectly cradle the weapon, and has hand carved details decorating it. Personalise this special gift by engraving the recipient’s name on the taiaha, or on the base.
The pounamu (greenstone) blade is genuine New Zealand pounamu, sourced from the West Coast of the South Island. Pounamu colour, shade and markings vary from piece to piece, ensuring that your taiaha is truly one of a kind. The colour of the greenstone you receive will vary from that pictured.
