The Maori Tiki represents the first born man, created by Tane, the god of Forests and Men.? It is believed to be a symbol of good luck, as well as a fertility symbol.
In this contemporary representation of a tiki, the tilted head symbolises clear thinking, the hands indicate strength, the mouth means communication, and the loins symbolise fertility.
Large Standing Tiki artwork (260mm high) crafted from plantation grown gaboon using laser technology and hand-assembled. This single-sided piece of art boasts super fine detail, paua inlay and comes complete with stylish black base, related story and protective box.
