Large Freestanding Wooden Standing Wheku
The wheku is a carved representation of a human face. It is the head of an ancestor, depicted at the gable of a wharenui, often representing the ancestor after which the house is named.
Large Standing Wheku artwork (245mm high) crafted from plantation grown gaboon using laser technology and hand-assembled. This single-sided piece of art boasts super fine detail, paua inlay and comes complete with stylish black base, related story and protective box.
Proudly made in New Zealand . There are always very slight differences in colours and carvings of carved products.
Engraving on the front of the base stand can be done with a Golden Plaque.
